1914 $100 Red Seal Federal Reserve Note (Fr. 1081b)
PMG 25
The red overprint on this rare Kansas City hundred still pops, with the Treasury seal and both serials bright against strong black ink. The note shows some folds and minor handling for the grade, yet Franklin's portrait and the district seal remain sharp and well defined. The paper retains good body, and the margins frame the design fully on all sides. PMG's label notes "Stains Lightened, Ink Bleed," and the reverse engraving holds deep, detailed green throughout. A great example of a tough large-size red seal $100 with genuine eye appeal and plenty of presence in the holder.
