1917 $1 Sawhorse Legal Tender (Fr. 36)

The red seal and matching serial numbers on this Fr. 36 Teehee-Burke pop with real intensity against bright, fresh paper that fully earns its EPQ notation. The black engraving is inky and sharp, with fine detail throughout the Washington portrait and cleanly struck signatures. No folds or handling interrupt the surfaces, and margins frame the design on all sides. Flip it over and the reverse delivers rich, saturated green with crisp lathework from edge to edge. A choice example with strong eye appeal that looks every bit the part.
