1917 $2 Legal Tender (Fr. 60)

Fresh, original paper with well deserved EPQ and strong embossing gives this note impressive eye appeal. The inks are deeply printed - jet black design and a vivid red overprint - with bright, untoned paper throughout. Margins are nicely balanced for the type, and the reverse shows a rich, even green with crisp detail. Serial numbers pop cleanly. Only light handling at the edges limits the grade, but the originality and color carry the presentation.
