1922 $20 Gold Certificate (Fr. 1187)

Fresh, original paper with a well deserved PPQ designation and strong embossing that’s evident in hand. The inks pop - jet black detail offset by vivid orange overprints and a saturated orange reverse with no washout. Margins are nicely balanced for the type, delivering confident eye appeal in the holder. Surfaces are clean and bright with crisp texture and snap. A couple of faint vertical bends keep it out of gem territory, but the overall presentation is decidedly choice and attractive in this PCGS Currency holder.
