1923 $5 Porthole Silver Certificate (Fr. 282)

Eye appeal is notably strong on this PMG-graded Porthole. The paper shows even, mild VF handling with typical folds and light circulation, yet the body is solid and the face details hold up extremely well. Margins are presentable, and the black engraving has nice contrast against the still-bright paper. The reverse retains a full green impression with grade-appropriate toning and handling. This is a stellar example of a super tough one-year type.
