1928 $50 Numeric District Federal Reserve Note (Fr. 2100g)
PMG 40 EPQ
Bright, original paper is the headline on this Chicago numeric district fifty, and the EPQ notation is well earned. This Fr. 2100-G GA block example shows some light folds and minor handling consistent with the XF grade, yet the surfaces stay fresh and the paper keeps solid body. The green serial numbers are bold, and Grant's portrait holds crisp detail throughout. Margins are even and frame the design nicely. The reverse is a treat, with the Capitol vignette printed in rich, deep green against clean white paper. Strong eye appeal and plenty of pop for a mid-grade 1928.
