1928A $1 Funnyback Silver Certificate (Fr. 1601)

The blue seal and matching JA block serials pop off bright, clean paper on this Fr. 1601, a gem 66 with a well-earned EPQ notation. Washington's portrait is sharply rendered, the black inks are deep and even, and both signatures read clearly. Comfortable margins frame the design on all four sides. Flip it over and the green is rich and saturated, with crisp detail across the big, funny, "ONE" with no folds or handling to interrupt it. Plenty of eye appeal here, and a strong pick for the type.
