1934A $5 North Africa Emergency Issue (Fr. 2307)

That yellow seal grabs your attention first - saturated and evenly printed against the gray-black engraving, with no fading or toning creeping in. This Fr. 2307 KA block example backs it up with fresh, bright white paper and a well-deserved EPQ notation. The blue serial numbers and large blue 5 are sharp and evenly inked, and the portrait holds fine detail throughout. Margins are ample all around, with a touch more room on the right side of the face. Flip it over and the green is deep and clean, with crisp detail in the central vignette and a nicely framed border. A true gem with strong eye appeal on both sides.
