1935A $1 S Experimental Silver Certificate (Fr. 1610)

The red "S" overprint pops off this Fr. 1610 Experimental, and the rest of the note keeps pace. The blue seal and S-C block serials are deep and saturated, and the surfaces are bright and clean with no folds or handling to speak of. Margins are balanced on both sides, framing the design nicely. The reverse green is rich and even, with the 3160 back plate number clearly legible. PCGS added a well-earned PPQ notation, and the Gem grade looks right on the money. Strong eye appeal on a popular experimental.
