June 18, 1764 Pennsylvania Colonial Two Shillings (2s) (Fr. PA-121)

VG Previously Mounted

Well traveled and authentic, this example - printed by Benjamin Franklin himself but missing the telltale "Printed by B. Franklin reverse" - shows soft, well-handled paper with heavy circulation folds that leave the text and coat-of-arms still legible. The inking remains serviceable for the age, with the signatures readable and the border devices present despite overall even toning. Period endorsements are visible on the back. Edges are rough with small chips and rounding from use, yet the note lies flat and intact for handling. A central split has been stabilized on the reverse with an old paper repair, but the piece retains honest, historical eye appeal.
