May 1786 Rhode Island Colonial Three Shillings (3s) (Fr. RI-294)
XF
This example shows pleasing, well bodied paper with bright, even surfaces and no apparent restorations. The black print is sharp for the issue, with crisp ornaments and a fully legible “Death to Counterfeit” back. Generous, balanced margins frame both sides, adding to the eye appeal. Serial and dual signatures remain bold, the red committee hand signing especially vivid. A faint vertical fold is noted, otherwise the note presents as clean, sound, and attractively preserved for the type.
